• Discuss/Act on Wages for relief drivers.

• Discuss/Update on Bridges that need work on Golf Course Dr and Mill Rd

• Discuss/Act Humane Society contract.

• Discuss board of Review training who plans to attend and what date.

• Discuss/Act on grant for cyber security

• Report on Town Correspondence from Town Clerk & other officers.

TOWN OF EMPIRE

Monthly Meeting  

December 10th, 2025

Chairman Richard Julka called the monthly meeting of the Town Board of the Town of  Empire to order at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, at the Empire town hall. Notice and agenda of this meeting was sent to the Town's official newspaper, the Reporter, and a copy is on file with the Town Clerk.

Present at the meeting were Richard Julka Chairman Scott Schnettler and Ted Halbur, Supervisors, Nikki Pierquet, Town Clerk, Gail Schindelholz, Treasurer, Mike Morgan, Deputy Clerk, Peter Becker, Permit Insurer, Tom Schindelholz, Trish Schnettler, Jeff Butzke, Matt Baumhardt

Chairman Richard Julka announced that a quorum was present and asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes. No additions or corrections needed.

Supervisor Halbur made a motion to approve minutes. Seconded by Supervisor Schnettler all in favor the November 2025 monthly meeting minutes were approved.

First on the agenda to discuss with Matt Baumhardt and Jeff Butzke Matt’s plans to develop the land Matt had purchased off of Danny Ln. The Board advised Matt Baumhardt that he would need a plan commission meeting to rezone the property. Jeff will get the needed information to Clerk Pierquet and they will work on setting up a plan commission meeting.

Next on the agenda is to discuss bridges on Golf course, Mill Rd and Artesian Rd that will need work done on them. The town may be able to put Culverts in on Golf Course and Artesian Rd. Richard is waiting to hear back on different options the town has. This will be an ongoing discussion and will appear in the coming months' agendas.

Next on the agenda Chairman Julka Appointed 14 election inspectors for a two year term starting 1/1/26 ending 12/31/27.

Last item on the agenda is to Discuss/Act on the Westfield Rd Special meeting that was held at 6pm prior to the start of the December board meeting. Supervisor Schnettler motioned to discontinue the public way on a portion of  Westfield Rd pursuant to Wis . Stat. 66.1003 . Supervisor Halbur 2nd the motion all in favor motion passed.

Report on Town Correspondence

Deputy Clerk Morgan reported we would be ending the year in a good spot financially.

Clerk Pierquet mentioned that next month Sam Adylmeyer would like to come in and talk to the board about splitting his in-laws land into 2 parcels and building a new home on the new parcel.

She also mentioned she received a call asking about combining two lots owned by the same people into one lot.

There were no public comments

Bills were approved and paid.

A motion was made to adjoin by Supervisor Schnettler, seconded by Supervisor Halbur, all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
