Notice of Public Hearing
Town of Empire

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of
Empire Town Board on April 9, 2025 beginning at 7:30 PM at the Empire Town Hall,
located at W3675 Fourth St. Rd, Empire, WI to consider action on an ordinance to adopt
the Town of Empire 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of the public hearing is to
accept public comments on the Plan Commission’s recommended version of the plan.
The public may review copies of the draft Town of Empire 2040 Comprehensive Plan at
the following link: https://town-of-empire-comprehensive-plan-updatecedarcorp.
hub.arcgis.com/. Interested parties may also view a copy of the plan by
calling Scott Schnettler, Town Clerk at (920) 215-1117 or via email at
empiretownclerk@gmail.com
The public is invited to speak on the draft Town of Empire 2040Comprehensive Plan.
Written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk at the address above and will
become part or the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested
parties in attendance have had an opportunity to offer comment. Upon the close of the
Public Hearing, the Town Board will consider possible action on adoption of the plan by
ordinance.
