NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday November 15, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
at the Town Hall of the Town of Empire, W3675 4th St. Rd., a Public Hearing on
the PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET of the Town of Empire will be held. The proposed budget
in detail is available for inspection by contacting the Deputy Clerk at 920-948-
3828.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF EMPIRE,
FOND DU LAC COUNTY
Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, immediately following
completion the Budget Hearing, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Empire town hall,
a Special Town Meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12(1) (c) of
Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held:
1. To approve the total 2024 highway expenditures pursuant to Section
81.01(3) of Wisconsin Statutes.
2. To adopt the 2023 Town tax levy to be paid in 2024 pursuant to Section
60.10(1) (a) of Wisconsin Statutes.
